Laney College’s Carpentry Program's Tiny Home Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony!

Laney’s Carpentry students have been hard at work designing and building 200 sq. ft. energy-efficient tiny homes. This project not only provides a unique living experience but also contributes to addressing housing insecurity in our communities.

The current tiny home was donated to the Winnemem Wintu Tribe to support a land steward/caretaker. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainable living and preserving cultural heritage.
