Recent Happenings

Laney College was thrilled to host 200 high school students from OUSD for the 2024 Oakland Manufacturing Day, showcasing pathways in advanced manufacturing through hands-on activities and interactive workshops. With support from industry partners and nine Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, students explored CNC machining, laser engraving, architecture design challenges, and more. A big thank you to everyone who made this event a success, inspiring the next generation of creators and innovators!

The QCC (Student Center, Room 300) is transforming into a quiet study space for the last two weeks of the semester.

Important Dates

• December 7th: Last day to file for the PASS/NO PASS grading option for regular session classes.
• December 8th–14th: Final examinations week. Good luck!
• December 12th: Counseling will be closed at 1:00PM for our counseling meeting and will reopen on Friday, December 13th.
• December 14th: Fall Semester Ends
• December 16^th - January 5th there will be no counseling services. Counseling will resume services starting Jan. 6, 2025.
