Reminders & Announcements
Spring 2025 Classes Still Available: It’s not too late to enroll and stay on track toward your academic goals. Spring classes, including late-start options, are still open for registration. Don’t miss this chance to build your skills, earn credits, and move closer to graduation. See what's still available.
Holiday Break Campus Closures: The campus will be closed from December 24th – January 2nd. Plan accordingly for classes, services, and deadlines.
No counseling services from Dec. 16th - Jan. 5th. Counseling will resume services starting Jan. 6, 2025. From January 6 to January 31, 2025, all in-person counseling will be offered on a drop-in basis, with sessions lasting 10-15 minutes.

For health appointments over the break, please leave a voicemail on the clinic's phone line (510-464-3134) or via the clinic's email (PCCDhealthclinic@peralta.edu). Be sure to include your name, phone number and student ID# and the clinic's staff will follow-up with you.
Since Laney College will be officially closed during Winter Break, once scheduled, all appointments will take place at Baywell Health's West Oakland Health Clinic (700 Adeline street Oakland CA, 94601).

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible success of our Laney College Women’s Basketball team, currently ranked #4 in the state and #2 in Northern California!
This achievement reflects the team’s dedication, hard work, and unstoppable spirit on and off the court. Thank you to the players, coaches, and supporters for making the Laney community proud.
Over 35 students and 10 faculty members participated, learning about scholarships, internships, mentorship, and leadership development. The event strengthened Laney’s partnership with HACU as the college prepares to apply for grant funding as a Hispanic Serving Institution.
